First presentation of Serbian products in South Africa

As a result of visit from South African delegation to Republic of Serbia in November 2012, we have successfully established the first presentation of Serbian products in South Africa. At the Exhibition of Technology in Johannesburg, two Serbian companies, in Minatar organization, are showcasing their production and capacities at various meetings with South African officials, and also development and industry leaders.

Serbian company DMV Nis, with whom Minatar has already established successful cooperation and implemented a number of products in South Africa, is presenting its new solutions in traffic signs and sport signs, incorporating solar technology.

Mr. Zarko Taric, attended the occasion of hosting His Excellency, the State President, Dr Jacob Zuma

Mr. Zarko Taric, was invited by His Majesty, King Zwelonke Sigcawu of AmaXhosa as as the guest on the occasion of hosting His Excellency, the State President, Dr Jacob Zuma on the 11th December 2012 at Nqadu Royal Palace in Willowvale, Eastern Cape.

His Majesty bestowed the State President with the highest accolade of the Xhosa Kingdom for his role in the liberation struggle as well as the development agenda in the new dispensation. The royal order conferred to the President is known as the King Hintsa Bravery Award, named after the legendary warrior King of AmaXhosa who was brutally killed by the colonialists during the 6th Frontier War in 1835.

South African delegation visits Serbia

Ms. Duduzile Maseko, Executive Director of Community Development at the City of Johannesburg, was part of the South African delegation coming to business visit to Republic of Serbia in November 2012.

The main goal of this visit for South African delegation was to gather information on Serbian products, technology and knowledge on several key issues in South Africa, including reduction of carbon emissions, energy management, water conservation, waste management systems and many more.
